Susan was incredible! She was patient, kind and listened to all of my concerns as we looked for a place for my parents. She not only wanted to know about my parents health status but also about their interests, personalities and what was most important to them. Her knowledge and experience is invaluable. Susan helped find a memory care home that fit my mom's needs far better than the home she was in. We were in a bit of a rush and Susan was on it, calling other homes, arranging visits, constantly connecting with me until we found the perfect spot. Ronda was so helpful in finding an assisted living space that was a good fit for both my parents. Their needs were very different and Ronda’s knowledge of the various facilities was instrumental in helping us find a place able to provide individualized care for mom and dad and allow them to stay together.

My mother has dementia and the social worker from her neurologist referred me to Senior Living Specialist where I met Susan. During our first conversation I felt the compassion, commitment and dedication she had for the senior community. Susan patiently listened to my moms story and shared insights about being a care-taker, validating my spirit. After our conversation she went right to work. She spent hours going through her vast repertoire of resources to find a Senior Community that best fit my mother's specific needs. She found a wonderful place for mom, but Susan's help didn't stop there. She worked with the facility's director to negotiate fee to fit mom's financial situation. Susan and her team are outstanding. I am so grateful/blessed to have them as a part of our support team.

Placing a parent into an assisted living facility is one of the most difficult things someone can do. Fortunately, my family had Ronda to help navigate this very difficult task. Ronda was knowledgeable, resourceful, patient, kind, and very available to help us every step of the way. I’m grateful my father-in-law is in a safe community where he has adjusted well and is comfortable. And, we are grateful that he is safe. There is not enough time or space in the world to express my and my sisters appreciation for Susan, Lorri and SLS. We had already braved the world of finding a place for our mom on our own the first time and to say the least had a very difficult experience. Once we knew we needed to start the search to move mom again we found Susan who immediately dropped everything to come to our rescue.. She is a true professional and expert in the field and exactly the kind, caring voice and senior/family advocate we needed at that time.
